i got myself a weekly dj gig and i have to start digging for fresh music so i figured the best place to start is here. let me know where i can download / preview / buy your stuff. i'll be playing at a cafe / bar so i'm not looking for very edgy stuff. other than that, my sets will be pretty much freestyle so if you feel like sharing i certainly want to listen.

Optic Echo Records is pretty much all free MP3s now. My stuff is Mike Jedlicka. Feel free to d/l & play them out. It's more loungy electronic music. I'd suggest "Leaving Baja", "Bye Gones", and "The Lost Chord" ...

i also checked kringlescat & tsuki on myspace and Aged Machine on virb and i have Taavi's album here somewhere.
it's a bit too early for me to know what i'm saying, but here are some first thoughts on what i've heard so far:
Psyingo's "Prevert" -- i'll be playing "tensor3" for sure, it was love at first hearing
Spark -- i hit the "buy" button before even the first sample was over. can't wait!
astroboy -- i expected something like DuranDuranDuran but it was more like Phon.o. real party tunes those 2
mulletballet -- i liked the trance-y aged machine tunes, i checked "numerology", "tranquility" and "frantic world". it's not really the style i play but i'll grab that numerology album sometime
tsuki & kringlescat -- i heard the first two songs on the tsuki profile, i was planning on starting and ending my set with similar ambient / beatless tracks in order to separate it from the Thievery Corp. playing before it and White Stripes & Death in Vegas played after it. i listened to the track on the kringlescat profile as well and it flowed smoothly into my ears, didn't get bored although it was almost 15 minutes long.
dpmtl -- i haven't decided if i'll be taking my old Dream Injection cds with me, but if i do this one would blend in perfectly. it's a little short tho, is there a longer version?
VC - man, that "skweee on" tune is the shit! i liked all your tunes tho.
j_chot, you know i like techno! send some links this way, willya?
nulldevice, any breakbeat of any kind is what i'm into. also hiphop and styles close to it, but as i said, it's a pretty freestyle set so anything fresh is welcome
thanks for all this music people!! there wasn't even one mediocre track among the ones i've heard so far, they all range from good to great.

delete the track isn't finished yet.The original is faster(V1)i thought maybe you could use it in a mix as it is.If not no prob,i'm working on a longer version and i can send you that.I was also interested to know if it was something you could play as i plan to give it to a dj anyway so the fact that you can use it is good news indeed
