I submitted a photo for JPG Mag's "Travel off the beaten path" article. Go looky and if you like the picture vote to include it in the magazine!

About the mag--it's pretty rad, totally democratic, prints some very interesting work from all over the world by a whole range of photographers, professional, amateur, and crap (like me).

(that's the best I got)

eg - those are all pictures of me

er, ej not eg, wtf fat fingers
yeah i thought hmm i wonder if flickr just uses /username and if tantan is tantan on flickr

still funny though, if i could edit blog replies i was going to make bbwax have said "nice eyes. keep shooting"

i found your real flickr, post more holga shots!

i cant find mine makes me want to dig it out and use it though.

they're much fun--and cheap, I figure if I lose or break mine I'd just replace it, actually I'm surprised it hasn't broken already.

I love cheap / toy cams, also bought a shitty Kodak Brownie from the 50s, found some film that'll fit it but haven't gotten any back yet. Curious what that'll look like.

I have a polaroid b&w land camera - it's rather fun, but film is $$$

I'm bummed they've stopped making sx70 film...I always wanted one cause you can do that squishy dye thing with the emulsion

yeah that bites, I've also always wanted to play with emulsion squishing... I wonder if any of the rare film specialty people are looking at that, ie. film for classics, frugal photographer, etc. Film for classics sells postcard size negatives for this beautiful 1916 Kodak pocket cam that my dad gave me, but it's like $30 for a pack of 6 or 8 sheets, and I'm sure no one in Portland can process it so then I'd have to pay the big bucks to ship it off somewheres. Ferget it!

pic of the cam my da gave me:

It is such a beauty, I hate that I can't use it.

time to turn your dork room into a dark room

believes me I considered it! but, I just got all of the music equip rearranged and now we're using it to store Connie's soap so no dorkroom for me! Plus, chemicals = big messy yuck.
