--> so im really into portable music making these days, i love nanoloop.,

and i have a ds. i see that em978 and maybe some other ppl have been working on making music things for it.

im going to need a flashcard thing. which one?? i remember zfigz saying that one of the major ones sucks ass... which one was that? the m3 seems good.. but is that the bad one?

the nitro tracker page talks about getting a slot 1 and a slot 2 card.. wtf?

so yeah basically im asking about personal experience of how these cards work, whats best for music apps/ ect/

i was thinking, jam session, should come in many different versions that could then "jam" with eachother via wifi. that would be fucking sweet. maybe one of them is a recorder, one is a guitar, one a keyboard, drums, yeash

damn that monome sim looks interesting.

CC: it's called Daigasso! Band Brothers

too bad nobody makes MIDI apps for the DSerial device. . I'm thinking about offering some 'reward money' and loose specifications for someone to develop me a sequencer. . . DStar claims it works on DSerial but it doesn't

R4 FTW for S-1 cards. The CycloDS is supposed to be decent too..

music apps:

Nitrotracker
Nanoloop (need a slot2 card like a 3-1 EZ Card)
LSDJ (same)
AXE
DS Drum Machine (TR909, but ive been having problems getting this to work)
Electroplankton
and others... theres a couple commercial ones worth taking a look at.

check youtube, theres alot of homebrew demo videos there.

btw.. (stumbled across this old conv on google while lookin for somethin)... the DS _does_ have multitouch just like the Kaoss Pad, it depends on the application. Check out the AXE demo (and source) for example.
