--> Not sure if there are any other Death In June (http://www.deathinjune.net) fan's on here, but I thought I would point out this really good Death In June cover band I've been following for a month or two. Also, if you've never heard of Death In June before, I recommend looking them up too.

That's all. I'm planning on posting some new music soon.

..if you mean though that my views are rigid and dogmatic you're dead wrong. If there's good evidence that DIJ are not a fascist band, or that fascism is not, on balance, a 'bad thing' then i'm happy to see it, and I might change my mind about the appropriateness of supporting the band--my specific views might be replaced by another set of specific views.

lol. sorry posts crossed. I guess this is a thread where godwins law has no power.

okay. let me say this, i dont know anything about death in june. but i can only assume that they havent gone to any extremes whatsoever with their views. extremes as in killing people, assaulting people, etc. so really, if someone wants to like the music and promote it for being good music, so what? let them be.

i'm sure if someone had posted about a mayhem cover band the backlash wouldnt have been nearly so bad; and their history is tainted with death, suicide, 'satanism', etc.

people still have a weak spot about the nazi's and facism. i mean seriously, wasn't david bowie sporting facist appearances at one point? it's a symbolism and aesthetic that expresses a certain feeling and evokes certain things. it gives a stark, powerful and grimm look to things. marilyn manson does that shit too... but maybe i need to read up more on death in june before i speak.

Judging from the information online it looks very much like DIJ's frontman is a fascist, not merely interested in nazi iconography. that's the thing.
