--> Hello!

In the past few days I've been very excited about one motion image, which you can see on a website. There's a monochrome women silhouette rotating in front of gray background. According to that website, people who see it rotating clockwise think more with right brain and vice versa.

For several days I could only see it clockwise, until yesterday. I turned my head left and blurred my eyes and after some time I indeed started to see it turning anti-clockwise.

Very interesting in my opinion.

Edit:
I also played the gif file backwards and I still saw it rotating clockwise.

Damnit, not another test to tell me I'm "impetuous"

woah thats weird.
if i zone out and not pay attention, it rotates clockwise.
but if i stare at it, it goes counter clockwise.
my mind just blew up

i saw this before
i cant remember which way i saw it first but i found after a while i could make it change directions
try to see it going left-right then right-left each time so it looks like its always switching direction and not doing full rotations

whoa, I can make it go back and forth now

crazy.. brains suck

goddam i saw it go clockwise just the other day. It's now anti clockwise, and a few tv ads later it's clockwise.

nice stuff! The 'switch' is possible because we have no information about whether we are looking at the front or back side of the figure at any given point.

personally, im always looking at the backside of the figure
jdg shut up! i spit my meal all over my powerbook because i laughed so hard!

on topic:
i'm glad i see the figure moving at all.
i started to believe that i don't have a brain.

Wow, I made it do a back flip!

If you imagine which way it spins while looking out of the corner of your eye and then look at it, it'll go that way... not sure if I believe the l.eft-right brain stuff.

pseudoscience bs imho

when i loaded the page i looked at it for like 30 seconds and could only see it rotate clockwise, but as soon as i started readinf the text on the left, it flipped...

i'm weirded out

i can make her ping pong 180s at times. no problem seeing it going either way, and i scored pretty evenly on the split brain.
for those of you stuck seeing her rotate a particular way, try holding up a mirror beside your computer screen. minutes of fun

she's doing head spins.. is that normal?
