Hello!
In the past few days I've been very excited about one motion image, which you can see on a website. There's a monochrome women silhouette rotating in front of gray background. According to that website, people who see it rotating clockwise think more with right brain and vice versa.

For several days I could only see it clockwise, until yesterday. I turned my head left and blurred my eyes and after some time I indeed started to see it turning anti-clockwise.
Very interesting in my opinion.
Edit:
I also played the gif file backwards and I still saw it rotating clockwise.

Crazy shit. I can only see it going counterclockwise. Tried unfocusing, squinting, turning at different angles. Wier d shit, very cool.

Can someone make a random blobby shape do the same thing, instead of a human figure, and post up the video?? I've a hunch that the shape is very unhelpful here. Anyone wonder why it seems to bob up and down?

now I can just make it change back and forth... ....
dach - that got me thinking ... like I said earlier .. if you were going to naturally spin around .. you go counter-clockwise... if I went they other way I'd fall over.

I just chanted about the leg in my head a few times and got it to go the opposite direction....back, front, back, front in the opposite that I thought it was going.
By the way, clockwise is also relative considering you don't know what angle the clockwise and counterclockwise is being based on. From the head down or from the toes up?
Either way, cool that it even looks like its rotating.

ABC News said: "Among these samples, they found strong support for the idea that, at least in primitive societies with higher levels of violence, lefties thrive."
Watch out, me and my kind are dangerous and bloodthirsty!

i think the reason we all (mostly) see it clockwise is that when the foot is lower it seems natural to interpret that as the back, since we're clearly looking at the dancer from above. i don't see why the dancer moves up and down, it distorts the efficacy of the test, seems to me. Whether or not left-brain/right-brain distinctions are valid (even if the two hemispheres do different things, which seems likely, the paradigm of one dominating one's consciousness may be totally wrong-headed), this test seems mighty fishy to me.

An odd test for sure. Now it seems like it switches direction after a minute or so. Especially if I'm not paying attention to it.
