I think em411 needs a make over.
ITs getting really bland with the lightly bold colors and the same tiny pictures and all that crap. keep the functionality, or at least don't take stuff away like so many times in the past.
Myspace sucks, but there is constant action on the screen, keeping the ADD kids that we all are involved and attentive.
Howbout we allow em'ers to desing the page each week, filling in those damn boring opaque boxes with some pictures or interactive artwork.

Here's the main reason I -1'd the idea: I don't use information sites to be surprised and excited by their interface. In fact, the sooner the interface becomes 'invisible' to me (through familiarity) the better; because at this point a more direct interaction with the content is possible. A rotating site skin would prevent this from happening.

It is boring, but that doesn't bother me.
I think I would like to see some variation of the colours, but it si functional as is, and I'd be worried about things becoming illegible with some crazy combo like white text on flourescent yellow background.
It doesn't make me puke right now, and with web design sometimes that's all you can ask for...

Of course I'm not saying make it look like myspace, I'm just saying that I've noticed myself browsing here and I get really bored quicker than I do on myspace.
THe EMpage thing was awesome, so were avatars. BUt if EM doesn't want people to own identies by visualizations, then maybe the site should have some extra flair.

shit I just found out that China is larger than USA. That shit is awsome, it really puts the whole greatness in perspective. Plus their mp3 players are cheaper. I wonder tho, if china has good sewer systems, thats the highest on the political scale I ever get. If I can poop with out recorses, I love your government.
