because the first thing I thought when LDog(?!) said Insane Clow Posse is in Iraq's top ten was that something in the fact-finding was amiss...

that seems a little extreme, but you never know.
Maybe they use sales figures to gauge popularity, which to me is not a direct translation.
I dont' know what they would use to get these results.
