--> Your post is too short, if you don't have anything useful to say, don't say it.

Seriously, we all know it by now but it's just, like, the dumbest thing ever.

Circumvention #1 - just hold down the spacebar for a while. Apparently bogger's code doesn't trim trailing spaces before it decides that your post is too short.

Circumvention #2 - post a bunch of other crap that actually IS useless until your post is long enough. For example the string "Your post is too short, if you don't have anything useful to say, don't say it."

Circumvention #3:

Suggestion for Boggz for his next semi- (bi-?) annual code update of teh em:
Rather than checking how long a user's post is, why not check for how many times that user (or IP if you like) has posted within a thread in the last 15 minutes or, better yet, within the entire site, protecting the front page from the inevitable Wrath of Noob. Or some similar method, or combination thereof.

Cuz sometimes you only need 5 characters to make a useful post. Amirite?
