here is a link to a little video i put together for part of my live set that i've been playing recently. the music is made with nodal and the video is made with ableton live.
somehow the video/audio sync is off. i will fix it later.

mapmap. I have not! But I will now. I was working with Bryan Teoh on a show recently and he used Max/MSP to design some really easy transitions. It seemed like quite a powerful program. But I'm so curious to know how this works... I have Live but still haven't had the energy to learn it so well. I really wish I could be a fly on the wall of a real Live user. That would probably be massively eye-opening.

this totally made my morning. really lovely sounds/imagery. i hope the video features continue to be developed in Live over the coming years. i've been scoring for dance companies while using it, but as you point out, it's very rudimentary for the time being. anyway, thanks for sharing!

chimp, if they included fadein/fadeout crossfades for video in Live that alone would keep me happy for a long time... later down the line maybe some kind of video synthesizer that reacts to audio.

Basically I guess it adds video tracks and vj mixing capability (with video fx) into ableton...I haven't delved into it yet.
