Well, my girlfriend has dropped out of coming to ATP this year...with only one week left! So, I have a ticket going (for face value) to join me and 5 other (all male) twats for a long weekend of music and bumlove...oh, ok, no bumlove...but it is my birthday on sunday, if anyone wants to surprise me

emmail me ASAP if you are interested in coming. we can sort some soft paymet terms if that helps...

ALSO, I'd love to know your opinions on what I must not miss from the lineup - link - i already know lots that i consider must-see but i want to know if there is anything else you have experienced that i can't miss?

thanks in advance and hope to add one of you lot to my list of chalet bumboys/bumgirls.

big ups, sAMsKi.

Ahh, cheers for the info, UF.

I just read this -
Portishead and Aphex Twin opted to present their shows in Centre Stage and will be doing 2 performances each so they could perform their sets with no restrictive sound issues. To make this work ATP have cut the capacity of the festival by over 600 people to allow much easier access for all fans to be able to come and see the shows of their choice.

The Portishead show will be wrist-banded so all fans are guaranteed entry. At check-in please choose your preferred show day (Friday or Saturday) The wristbands will be on a first come first served basis, however if there are special circumstances that means you are arriving late on the Friday evening or not until the Saturday morning and can only attend the Saturday show please contact ATP on feedback AT NOSPAM atpfestival.com with "wristband" in the subject line and let them know and they can make arrangements to hold back wristbands.

The Aphex Twin shows will be on a first come first serve basis on the night - once the room is at capacity they will let people in on a one out one in basis.

I guess this means you will get a wristband that says 'ATP present... The Nightmare Before Christmas, curated by Portishead - 7/8/9 December 2007' etc
and it will be one colour if you decide to see the Friday show and another if you decide to see the Saturday show.
Where it says that the wristbands will be first-come first-served, I guess that's in regards to which day you see them on, right?
I think the Friday one will be chosen by quite a few because it'll be their first full performance in over 10 years, I think.
But, the Saturday show might be absolutely ace, plus there's that whole Saturday 'vibe'. Or something...

Yeah, they're on Saturday

My good friend/bandmate is supporting them at work the day before.

Rubbish...
Here's the right link -

If any London dwellers are interested, I'm playing electric bass guitar for Brendan.
The show is on Monday the 10th of December at the 12 Bar on Denmark St, London.
We're supporting Tenebrous Liar (These guys are ace!), Duke Garwood, Crow Brown and Black Country Ghetto.
Would be ace if some of you could make it!

Hmmm....

I just noticed - Dick Dale has canceled due to health problems
