Good God, 70 min!! how long are most techno albums? I still have tracks leftover too! I'm probably gonna release them as a free EP for promo for the album....
I can safely say it took from dec of last year and It will take all of this year to complete.
it feels kinda weird to look at a years work for me.
I'm kinda worried because alot of these tracks are fairly different from each other.
goofy mash-up house, techno, hardcore, rave, electro... and a bunch in-between. maybe I can make the moods transition well.
dude, I have no idea....
Jason of (http://www.fantasyviolencerecords.com ) is going to pay for most of it, he says, but I wonder how he'll get the money....I'm capable of paying for most of it actually, but baby and stuff, ya know?
Is 10$ a pop too much? too little? I mean, it's fucking 70 min!! I worked over a YEAR on it.
I DON'T KNOW!!!!
I have no idea how I am going to beat the cover of my last album..don't even know where to start. but I better get a good idea....
1000 cdr's in a blank jewel case w/black thermal printing:
$520 ----(http://www.jkdprinting.com )
inserts and tray papers for the 1000 CD cases:
148$ (http://www.whitetigerprinting.com ) (i got the HOOK UP N*GGA!)
(+countless hours of putting all that shit together!!!)
I have no idea for mastering... I think I'm gonna go with this local guy who owns a studio called "soundworks media" he really knows his shit. I dunno how much he'll charge me though.
who of you do da master'n? whatchu want?
I'd like suggestions on any of the things discussed today.
