Well, hello. [apologies if this has already been em411'd]
Just wanted to share this with you. I guess a lot of you will know The Bad Plus already, and the fact that they did this cover but i love this, so wanted to 'put it out there' --

(fuck knows if that will embed) -- there are other versions on youtube, some very cool too but this one is the best produced from a video perspective. it aslo appears on the blunt object (live in tokyo) album...blah blah.
also, just wanted to mention that ATP was great - props to Zanf and my other mates that made my brithday weekend a stormer!! shame karlheinz had to put a bit of a downer on it but much fun was had  props ZANF!

Well, I like this much, much better than the Alarm Will Sound RDJ cover album. Their takes on his songs were terribly overcomplex. With acoustic instruments adapting this sort of thing, the fewer elements the better.
Actually I like this quite well. Quite prefer it to the original instrumentation to be honest, which I don't relate too so much anymore.

hehe - now now sir, i only did that because he was a ben sherman and because he had some balloons i wanted the maddest thing we did (that i can remember) is stand at the doors infront of the main doors that security were standing at and shout 'wristbands please' everytime someone walked by. people were very obedient. i even frisked some fella...that was a highlight! another highlight was some geezer, who was trying to pick a fight with me, who made a great gag. he said to me "i wish i could grow a beard like yours...but i wouldn't" ahahahah!
