After having my interest piqued by the mention of the Optigan in this thread, I took a look around and liked what I saw, but I have a few questions for you dudes and dudettes that may know more than I.
1. Being the consumate groove junkie/b-boy/break-lover I must ask: Are there drums in this thing? It looks like it has a number of different moods or accompanyment options, but does anyone know if there are some solo drums? I heard some dope sounding drums on an Optiganally Yours track, but they could easily have been processed breaks.
2. What instruments can you play on the keyboard? Just organ?
I'm strongly considering buying the sample set from optigan.com, but it's $200, so I thought I'd ask before plunking down the cash.
Thanks in advance,
MacPeezy
Just realized I should include some links, in case any of you want to get in the know:

I got to play an optigan once and fell in love.
Unfortunately it was so long ago I can't remember too much.
for each disc, there are preset rhythms and chords, and the optical discs also let you play other sounds.

I just read through that whole story -- what a trip. heh. I'm going to have to look for one of these.

Thanks for the info Roshi! I'm really into this thing because it sounds so undeniably retro...and the drums thump in a nice way too.
