--> this is one of the greatest live performances i have ever seen. i think its the raw energy, musicianship and neon clothes set against the backdrop of a lifeless crowd.

i just don't care what anyone else says.

that only thing that would have made that performance better was if corey glover was wearing a wetsuit and tuxedo jacket like in the music video

aw man, screw that audience!

i totally remember watching that live. i used to always watch arsenio!!! good stuff.
vernon reid kicks serious ass.

speaking of ridiculously awesome energetic performances of black rock on talk shows, here's the amazing tv on the radio on letterman:

why am i the only person in the world who doesnt think TVOTR is the most groundbreaking thing to hit music since the electric guitar / hendrix / nirvana / etc ????? ive seen them live, i dont get it. they seem pretty bland to me

well, they can't all be les claypool.

well 1. i don't even like les claypool all that much, and 2. if i did, i could cite his obvious skills as a musician which are evident on all his recordings. which is more than can be s aid for TVOTR.

I actually saw them live when they were the opening act for king crimson.........very cool set indeed.
let's just say i was on very much klonopin
i think king crimson were on meds as well, hehe.

holy shit! dude, i swear to god i watched that live performance last week when i found my arsenio hall live performance VHS... rad

i dont care what everyone else says, the guitar solo for that track is brutal and the riff is rad-ass
