+ Not too cool for school anymore!
+ Stupid music
+ Beard
+ No beard
Grand plans for 2008:
+ Make an EP (yeah right)
+ Play live
+ Finish courses on the first try
Less grand plans for 2008:
- Get a soldering iron while still avoiding burnination of flesh and components
- Build another delay vst

2007: Turned 37 but felt about 25. Spent more time working than making music but the money compensated for it a bit. Learnt I have [work] talents people will pay money for but I need to develop a better sense of worth. Musically, I feel I have come full circle and that I know nothing. Not that I knew a great deal before but now I feel like I am back at the beginning again.
2008: Will turn 38 but still feel about 25. Things I want to achieve this year are: get physically into shape and try to reduce the damage the last 20 years of my lifestyle has done. Take a course for a PADI/scuba diving license. Travel a bit more. Maybe finally get a driving license. Make myself open to more opportunities than I did previously. Change jobs so I have more of a challenge, responsibilty and money. Get out of London more, if not permanently. Be instrumental in bringing down government and spreading peace and goodwill around the planet.

07 worked my ass off did loads of gigs, some remixes and wrote two documentary scores.
went sailling round spain which was ace and i want to do more, had a shitty time with girls/bike crashes.
thought about it all and came to the conclusion that i want to make music with real instruments and avoid getting
into relationships with girls and taxis.
08 the same but will make a release on a label and buy a new laptop. also gonna work hard with my band
and hopefully tour with them. working on some software to do live shows with my sampler and nord so i can
avoid ableton (not that i love it just want hardware fun!). gonna give up smoking and drinking so i can buy
a proper downhill mountain bike as opposed to the pretend bike i have now.

fredo, I had to first figure out what got my nerves so jumbled in the first place. For me, it was the fear of making mistakes. I guess I slowly came to accept that I'll make 'em, but I'll work harder at bailing myself out gracefully. When I screw up, I smile as a reminder me to just keep having fun. ;) That and repetition should get the nerves sorted out.

07 - settling into new flat, busier at work, played the banjo a lot, wrote/learned some tunes, bought a new four track, ammassed a load of tapes of jam sessions, played a couple of gigs, when down to Wiltshire and made some music with some really nice people from White Label Music.
gave up smoking...ive had a couple of wee relapses whilst drunk, but i haven't bought cigarettes sober since March!
hopefully...
08 - find another flat that has stable roof, find a better job, play the banjo better, mix down tapes, play more gigs, plug compilation album from White Label Music (due to be released early next year) do more music with White Label. continue cleaning penis regularly, find mate.
