Net-Lab (www.net-lab.co.uk) is a non-commercial online record label who promote innovative electronic music, mainly centred around IDM, Ambient, Acid, Dubstep, and Electro. We are constantly looking for contributors to submit their work for possible inclusion and would love to hear your tunes!
We are also looking for artists working in still image and video to be featured on the site, as well as to support work on artwork accompanying releases, and for the site in general which is fast expanding.

NL35 - X&Trick - Planes, Trains and Highways
X&Trick on top form presenting his unique blend of Drum ‘n’ Bass, Industrial, Hardcore and Breakcore with plenty of fantastically obscure noises, thick bass and dischordant synths. Introduced by a collaborative track with Chevron, “Brighton”, each track on the release is recorded in a different location around the world and named accordingly. Dark, hard hitting and at times definitely summarising the euro/belgium scene, the release is also quite diverse, with the more melodic starting track through to “Dubai”, which is reminiscent of an Evol Intent / Current Value style dark drum and bass, and then completed by the pounding techno of “Gent”
NL36 - Mully - Dalston 2066
A collection of delicate pieces constrasting Mully’s previously heard style of work, each track an amalgamation of flowing melody, micro-beats, and ambience. Many of the tracks have a warm, contemplative feel, though also with a melancholy vibe throughout. “Icelandia” and “Beach” are definite first listen favorites, with tracks like “She Will Lose” that take a few more listens to really appreciate.

First launched in June 2006, Net-Lab is a collaborative project run by members of InspireBox Media. Net-lab is an independent resource, free of commercial pressure. The site operates primarily from Brighton, UK.
Net-Lab’s objective is to release a prolific collection of innovative media including music (primarily electronic), still image, video and animation from around the world, in a freely distributable and re-distributable manner. The site currently features work by an array of artists that you will recognise as already having excellent quality releases on labels including Wrong Music, Adadaat, Sublight, AI Records, and Planet Mu. Although the site is still in its infancy, it already serves thousands of individual downloads, for which we have received an extremely positive public reaction. Intellectual copyright for the material distributed by Net-Lab is retained solely by its originator, but released freely (both in terms of money, and in law) to do with as you wish. We welcome redistribution of Net-Lab releases on online peer-to-peer networks like SoulSeek, Ares, DC++ hubs, and Limewire. You may broadcast audio material distributed by Net-Lab although we do ask that credit be given to the original artist and Net-Lab itself. If you intend to include any material featured on the site as part of a radio broadcast or as part of another form of redistributable media, then we do ask that you send a brief e-mail to us informing us of the probable time of broadcast, plus any other information you can provide. Net-Lab will continue to expand and distribute material well into the forseeable future thanks to support & hosting from InspireBox Media. If you have any media in whatever form that you feel is innovative and wish to contribute to Net-Lab then please do contact us. We are always willing to view any material submitted.
