as you can see, my apt practically drips with swank.
I would be able to show you more of my pad, but Sergio Mendes and Brazil '66 doesn't do a song longer than 3:20 seconds. that, and the house wasn't too clean.

that poster is blacklight btw, I need to get a fixture to put above it. there was also a cobra, but janette would only permit the panther...but that's cool.

you do know pregnant women are not supposed to be anywhere around cat shit, litterboxes, and general cat-filth, right? TOXOPLASMOSIS - not making this shit up. i'd be wary of having her around the bunny, too, seeing as to how they shit and piss all over themselves.

this might be straying off topic, but.....

as humanity / technology advances, i'm constantly interested in the corresponding rise in preventive measures such as "pregnant women shouldnt do this, this, or this" or "babies shouldnt be exposed to x, y, or z". there was a time when the most recent improvement to the process of childbirth was "hey mom, how about you dont eat the placenta this time." What I'm getting at is - before all of these cautionary practices came to the fore, the world still managed to produce great thinkers such as Jesus, Mohammed, Socrates, Plato, Shakespeare, Voltaire, Milton, etc etc. I mean, come on, Toxoplasmosis? Jesus was born in a MANGER! You think he didnt fall out of the virgin mary's vagina and directly into a pile of donkey poop? I think he did.

I agree about the peculiarityof what pregnant women should or shouldn't do, but most cases the reason behind which is "it might harbor bacteria that would cause you to miscarry" which cat poop can, things that are iffy is :sushi, soft cheese,seafood, certain herbal teas..the list goes on..
more than likely, these things will not affect baby poorly at al. however, if those items are prepaired incorrectly, then there's a problem.

plus the birth rate now, is astronomically higher than it was then.

there is definitely something to be said about those foods being iffy.
but there is considerable amounts of fear-mongering going on as well

my kids are fine.

most kids come out fine as long as you stay away from cigarettes, crack, and tequila, IMO
