Accomodation:
filarion had already found a place to stay, so i've arranged for everyone else to stay somewhere. The Fins will stay at the venue's guest house. I'll accomodate UnknownForce and Moriarty, Ben will stay at a friend's place. Anyone else who may be attending get in touch.

Unknownforce said: "hmm, there's alrerady a lot of techno on that list..." and i think none of the acts can actually be defined as pure techno. i wanted the style part for the flyer, so that the audience will know what they're about to listen to or maybe if they can't attend all 3 days, pick a day that suits their taste. the tag 'techno' won't help with that. however, i understand that it's hard and as filarion suggests kind of pointless to come up with a new subgenre for everything. maybe we'll just put "it is what it is, bitch!!" on the flyer  also, in other stfu events did you have a theme for every day, like day 1 techno, day 2 ambient etc? or did you have a progression from more mellow acts to dancier material? how do you suggest we do this one? delete, my better webpage is link . My style is definitely gonna be pretty pure stripped down techno. I have visuals for my set as well, just need a beamer, and maybe somebody to tweak them a bit sometimes (they're mostly fine on their own though).

A fuckup with an ebay purchase of a piece of gear i need to be able to a do shows (they sent it somewhere else and won't answer my emails, now its a paypal despute procedure thing
 ) is making it look like i won't be able to confirm in time whether i can attend. sucks what piece of gear is this?
well, if you want to narrow it down more, i'm probably more "melodic techno" than "minimal techno" .. but I also have Housey tracks and ambient tracks in the set - I'm just so versatile! *swoons*
I think a progression from mellow to dancey is a good idea if you want to have a dance party going on later. If you don't then that's cool, but in terms of getting a wide variety of people to stay and party you need to kind of build up energy and don't drop it for too long once you're past 1 am or something... or design one night to end in a total dance-fest and the other to be more of a mellow affair.. yep, my style varies a lot too, so I'd rather call it just techno. I'll make a myspace account before the STFU, if I'll be able to find the time to mix a few tracks.
i don't know if i would call myself breakcore anymore..... i have elements of it but my sets definetly aren't super aggressive. i dunno, i range from techno to 8bit to acid to jungleish stuff. anyone?
