--> ok- so many moons ago we were blessed w/the gift of shirtlessness+ female form + "Djing" and many things were posted and some people were scolded, some were 'temporarily blocked' for posting certain key words that trigger such a result.

so, of course myspace is the spawn of many tacky (list adjectives here) things that we mostly tolerate as part of interwebs and these things are a reflection of what is happening and would be going on with or w/o the series tubes that = internets.

so, today in my myspace inbox i come across this lovely myspace page full of DJ's who can't find shirts and are all linked to some booking agency that specializes in such types. hilarious. some of the you tube videos are ridiculous. the one linked below (NSFW) is particularly funny because there's a nude female DJ 'on the decks' and the camera pans around to show you the magnitude of the party then comes back to the girl and a bunch of what look like teenage boys pressed up against the stage w/cameras.

nothing new, i know, but for some reason i found the "whole nutha level" aspect of the clothing optional DJ kind of made me momentarily speechless. as i type now i'm hesitant to press 'submit' but what the hell. i haven't blogged in a while

the basic skills necessicary for djing are not that hard.... sorry to burst anyone's bubble.
but to be fair, djing is alot like chess. it can be really simple, or really complex.

i cant do it
ive tried several times
no progress at all
i simply cant comprehend 2 tracks at the same time at different speeds trying to work out which is faster
presumably simple repetetive techno isnt any more difficult to mix than other styles is it?
