Electronic Music other: Virb+Myspace=VIRBspace!

So I've been doing some profile tweaking. I hate myspace, but people I know in real life use it.. so whatever (or is that an excuse? ). Anyway, I think I've achieved the cleanest narrow format profile ever... ok so that might be an overstatement... but it's not so much the design, it's just the fact that it's devoid of all myspace gizmos. It's uber clean, and the virb player runs the whole show... since the myspace player makes me sick. The only myspace thing that I kept is the required ad. Even that impossible to get rid of "user short cuts" is gone. Why am I excited? cos I was up til 4am wasting my time on this pointless crap. I loathe myspace customization! it would be more fun driving metallic objects thru my head with nail gun. It does look a lot nicer tho. This was actually part of a larger project, making my myspace/virb/tumblr accounts nearly identical and interconnected.

anyway take a peek..
link

Does anything render strange? I haven't tested it with IE, only FF and Safari.

renders fine in firefox on mac, on safari there's a string of backwards text or somethiing on the top right next to the player. looks nice though! how'd you manage to get rid of the myspace player?
pretty cool
could u test this with SeaMonkey 1.1 and K-Meleon 1.1 just in case
there is a page where you can try rendering a page through a variety of browsers on different platforms. Ill try and find hte link.
found it: link
@tmns, something like...
table table table table {visibility:hidden;}

that will dump your profile pic + some other info and the myspace player. You then setup a new div with a class name for your new player, and use absolute positioning to put it where you need it. You and try to decipher the garbaled code, I did put some notes in there. It's a mess tho, I need to clean it up (tho clean and myspace don't go hand in hand). Def a hack... heh. Safari doesn't like to render 0px fonts. It makes them tiny specks. I had to use letter-spacing tricks try to squeeze it into 1 speck. I'll have to look at it on another mac.. cos here, it's not noticeable at all... literally a speck.

I'll try seaMonkey and K-Meleon... tho I think I'll try Zanf's link! Tho it said the renders for myspace are used up for the day.. so I'll try tomorrow. Anyone with IE. It's probably a mess... hahaha.
wow - pretty swank... I like the simple graphic nature and un-clutteredness... I've yet to learn CSS - is that what you used?
pretty sexy for a myspace page! good job.
looks ace.
only strange thing is, how the pictures are rendered. they looked a little skewed.
@antfactor, it's all css hacks.

oh ya, the pix are a bit skewed cos I like little squares instead of the free form thing.. heh. Looking at it in the link Zanf provided has revealed that linux has some glitches, as well as IE (which I'm not surprised since I tend to break rules in ie all the time). Maybe it's fixable.
nice job! you got two friend requests by the collective me
wow mindasplode, good job/

Perhspa you could do something like use overflow:hidden on the avatard containers, so that they just clip when they're bigger than your boxes instead of skewing? (if you want to waste more time on pointless crap i mean ;) )
nice page! even looks good on my ipod
nice work!

ok. nice, but all the effort and you still are on Myspace. uggg. Virb is the clear winner on so many levels. Myspace is a miserable...unless your 13 yrs. old.
