there is now a os x specific irc channel on freenode, #ardour-osx

the rubber-band time-stretch/pitch-shifting library (and utilities, see link ) and new edit modes are most exciting to me. ^_^ thank you for free software!

Wow, this stuff is really coming on. The 'rhythm ferret' (lol!), transient detection, and set-tempo-from-region are things i really hoped would show up in ableton Live at some point. Big up ardour for bringing the pressure to bear on commerical apps in the feature set stakes!

ubuntu 7.10 (hardy) has ardour 2.2 currently. so for 2.3 u gotta download it from ardour.org - have fun (also in ubuntu 7.10 repos: qtractor, traverso link daws)
