Sorry d00d but ballsack cancer is more sexy. ;)

Hope he comes through the surgery ok and it doesnt have any long term effects that effect his ability to function & play music.

that sucks but glad he's had surgery and is on the mend. i hope he gets better.

My wife's had two large brain tumors and come out the other end both times w/ no problems. I'm betting he'll do well so long as it is in fact "benign" as noted on his website.

(I quote "benign" because that's always a relative descriptor; nothing that pushes its way into your brain and causes seizures and such can really be called benign, no matter how slowly it grows)

American health care is a scam. Someone had to say it.

One of those benefits is only a couple of blocks from me, so I'd be an absolute bastard not to go. Will be there.

The quality is there if you're inside the medical / insurance system, but that's the rub I suppose.

I can't knock the science or the practice itself, given how much American medical care has done for so many people close to me.

Yeah, I've probably used more health insurance $$$ than any non-sick person I know. I just cringe when I see people who get sick and can never get over it financially. If this guy ever wants health insurance again (and he'll need it) he'll have to give up being a musician.

Of course I live in Massachusetts, which is kinda the best of both worlds: great doctors, and affordable health insurance to say, a type 1 diabetic. Back in North Carolina, when I tried to buy my own insurance, I was quoted $1600 a month with a big deductible--and that was in 2001. Bear in mind I'm fit and trim and have never had complications or poor control.
