Howdy,
As I'm sure some of you know, since I repeat this fact every few months in a blog, I'm a painter by training and a "graphic designer" by trade. I put that in scare quotes because I personally wouldn't hire me, but apparently other people would, so there you go.
Anyway, I recently formed an art collective with some friends from art school called MONSTER ISLAND (all caps aren't necessary, but preferred, like MF DOOM).
We have an installation going up at the (world famous?...if not just for it's Frank Gehry-designed architecture) Weisman Art Museum on Wed, and I launched our brand new website today in preparation for our first real show:

I made it today, over an extended lunch break, so it's not quite done yet but I think it came out nicely. I'll be giving each artist an individual gallery in the near future, with more viewing room, the gallery in place now is just too small!

Yeah, some very nice work there.
BTW if you ever need 'monster island' samples there's one in Son of Godzilla (a timeless classic...). A scientist exclaims "it's some kind of monster island!" all excited as if he's saying "goody it's chocolate candy!".
