--> I don't know how succesful the event was since i've never been to an STFU before and since i was the one organizing it. The reviews i got so far were good ones, but i don't think someone would come to me and say that the event sucked even if it did, so i don't have any unbiased reviews so far.

However, i know i had lots of fun, even though i was very stressed the whole time and i noticed a number of people having fun as well. I heard a ton of good music on a relatively good sound system, i danced my legs off on Saturday (the venue was closing normally at 4am and we kept it open until 5:30am), met some really cool people and gathered lots of useful experiences. To sum up it was one of the best events i've been to.

We had some problems with the recordings so there are some hiccups and level inconsistencies, but if you can bear with these i think you'll find lots of awesome music in them:

I have SROE's set as well and it will be available once it's been approved by Jen. Mine and the VC vs PJVM sets were seriously fucked up so we won't share them.

I didn't take any pictures but i know Mark and some other people did, so please upload them soon and let us see!!

plus: to anyone who is interested in organizing an STFU event, if i could do it half-decently then anyone can do it. so, if you feel you're up for it just come over to link and we'll help you make it happen. Yes, you too american fellaz

oh, you can cough Unknownforce, but it's difficult anyway here. i tried honestly last year to organize it, but the venue that i was thinking about was a bit too "punky" and they wanted to add their friends. so at the end there would have been more artists from them than artists from the STFU.

it didn't really surprise me. 'cause there is not a lot of venues here in marseille, and they struggle to survive 'cause the city council is hard with them (a lot of fines for noise etc....)

the other problem is that it seems that i'm the only frenchy to know the STFU collective. maybe my brother could work with me on it, but he is involved in organizing commercial parties (you know that nu electro french sound ? they are into it... booty shaking stuff...) so he has problems to get the idea of an "open web based collective", and so are the venues owners.

but i'll try again.
