whats protien tracker? i cant find anything about this on google?

it's actually called protein dscratch. it's definitely not a tracker, more of a fun music-processing toy. it looks impressive for homebrew, but I couldn't see making tracks in it, it's more like pocket dblue glitch.

had a go on the DS10 , its good fun but has a lot of limitations...

+ 2 semi-modular synth channels
+ 4 drum channels
+ fx
+ sounds good
+ channel mutes
+ pattern switching can be immediate or on next bar
+ keyboard/xy controller can be recorded

- song mode doesnt allow tweaking/editing while playing
- cannot alter drumsynth sounds while playing
- only 16 different patterns
- 1 bar pattern max length

good fun but a bit disappointing. if you have two DSes it'd be a bit more useful imo.
