post a link to it! and tell why

here is mine: its called "for rose"

i like the bassline and the space between against the piano part. im also happy with the mix and production... even tho remco (singer) is a out of tune sometimes.. but i love him so its ok.

bla said: "my favourite beats ive programmed were for my recent live set - see link (first track in player) those beats being programmed according to a set of rules i made up that comes out with better results than i would have thought of
but i still think i most enjoy 'i saw the tits of a ninja (beginning)' off the same page- i like it because it wrote and played itself by itself (ok - i told it to do it)- the intro/build up puts a grin on my face every time"

oops quote/edit bollocksssss

mine is "Polar". Check it out on my virb page
I love playing it out live. I remember playing some of the loops live and the base polar loops made let's go outside dance like a maniac... so I knew I had to finish that one!

OK partway thru this blog.
My fave of mine: link the first track I ever wrote with guitar. It was easy to write (its simply) and was happy I was finally "good" enough to use the guitar in music. Mixing it took nearly a year.

jdg, thats my favorite track of yours, too. Its so emo!
license, I love that lead synth... its so... synclavierry!
ricemutt... ahh, I dont want to listen to anything else after that. too relaxed.

GAH stupid no edit. it was seanh's track that relaxed me.
Ricemutt did not relax me.... but I enjoyed the aswesomeness (in the literal sense, not the skater sense) of it.

you could use one

I really love a lot of the ml stuff, it'd be impossible for me to choose, probably something off of our "John Carpenter" homage.

Of my own, truly "solo" stuff, no clue. I guess I'm pretty happy with the last thing I posted, good tunes, good beats, phat and fun.

link

but really, I don't know, I mean through the last 20 years of doing this there are a good 200 songs to choose from...

mlboob, I love that song too. It's soooo dirty, but you've got the bootiful vocoder and deeply buried melodics.

jdg, your song is weird. Good weird. It's very interesting sonically, and has a very hearty, emotional texture to it that I really respond to.

Still listening to everyone else's.

my thumpin' tune that evidently made tunalicker pee his pants a little :-)

Too sick to submit one...bleah

I likes mine 'cause it made someone pee his pants a little. It says so here: link

probably "furniture peeler" from March 2005, I think that's still my fave of the hundreds of tracks I must have done
link
There's a cool little ascending 3 note piano line buried deep in the track that I really like. This one has a kind of intense, feverish vibe

i fookin' love for rose! remco is my hero.

remco william FTW!

here comes the big saucy smooch for all of you

teh frio -- AWESOME, brings the funk big time, though I really really dig Lesion too! reminds me of some of my old fave phoenicia stuff
license -- totally chilly and spare, love how the melodics interlock in that track, and the perc sounds are rad
sweettrip -- your music is so good. So cute, so catchy, beautifully produced. I could listen to this stuff forever. Melodically and sonically totally inventive.
p -- amazing. need to check out more of your work. wonderful sounds.
Igs -- Hadn't heard Karamaku before. YES. Very dark, very entrancing, the evolution of timbres and interplay of monotone rhythms is really compelling. There's a crazy pinched esophageal thing midway through that totally kicks my ass. HOT.
rice -- watcha mean by spiritual content? The track is huge and just gorgeous, I love the crescendoing duel for harmony and order among the elements, and the eventual resolution into something more accessible and familiar. Among the experimentalists here you're nearly unmatched.
arseface -- holy shit, is there anything that you can't do? You're a fucker.
sean -- I hear you. Been sitting on three or four tracks lately thinking that I have to do something with them before they're finished, but gradually realizing that they're just fine the way they are. Sadly, however, I can't seem to get your song to load. I'll keep trying...

hey where'd my second post go? GRRRRRRR
cliffs notes
Astroid: never heard this one, sounds oddly natural
Ignatius: love karamaku, very rhythmic with no start, stop, 1.2.3.4.1.2.3.4. feel to it.
sweetrip: HAPPY FUN
bla: U R A WEIRD NOODLE. U.

this blog is awesome in a skateboarder kind of way. ricemutt really tripped me out. p -- beautiful! everyone made me pee my pants a little today.
