whatevercolour you choose, i advise that you don't go with the mistake of using it on the ceiling also. a white base flat paint should be used on the ceiling, it will add more contrast to the walls.

what colours do you like?
what colouts make you feel productive?
what colours make you distracted?

personally i like earth tones. but where all my gear is setup is a dark blue.. its not the colour i would have choosen but A) to lazy to paint B) i actually like it more than i'd thought i would and get work done there..
