there's plenty of "event tv" these days, in my opinion. Battlestar, The Wire (well, until a few weeks ago when it wrapped), and yeah, Lost is that for a lot of people.

actually i got into the wire. but nowadays someone just gives you the whole series on a dvd.
then you watch it when you got the flu or whatever. hardly an event.

ahh man liams got a roland jd 800 i always wanted this synth. i don't know why.
they had one in a studio i recorded an album in and its always stayed with me. orange lights i reckon.
