So I went into my local music store on the way home to grab some cables in their half-price sale and there's this big trolley of rack gear in the centre of the room. Old patchbays and the like. The owner says -
"Here, you use a lot of MIDI kit right?"
"Yeah"
"Have this - I don't use it anymore, it's a digitech MEQ28 MIDI controlled EQ"
"Suh-weet"
Anybody used of these things before? I found the manual online, but I've no idea how good they are. Still, not bad for free. He also had a really nice MIDI patchbay there that he wanted to give me too... two days after I dropped 6000 yen on one. Ahh...the irony
