I'm kinda tired of hearing about how and why people were banned in blogs.
Maybe there should be a new section in the forums called "Banned", or just "Injustice!". Apologies to all the teens, of course - realizing that nothing is fair is a rite of passage I guess. people who moan in blogs about people moaning in a blog about getting banned should be banned.
and then they should moan in a blog abut getting banned for moaning.
as much as I don't wanna sound like an even older crankier git than I am by agreeing with Vostypedef's blog,
and as happy as I was to see all the hype surrounding radiohead releasing an indie net releasse.... i too am getting tired of seeing announcements for remixes everywhere. I'd like to be excited for all the fun remixing... something about it being a contest you have to pay to enter leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Still, remix away y'all. And post away, too, for all i care. Its music related. i woulnd't ban you and I don't see how banning is appropriate, considering how this site lets people get away with flaming, stalking, ranting, and is appaarently a few people's de-facto psychiatrist. You may post blogs about your remix, but I won't vote for your blog.
My main complaint when someone posts a "I made this. Listen to it" blog is most of them are so impersonal. Tell us a little bit about your release. And not in press release speak. Arrrgggh. mlbot said: "something about it being a contest you have to pay to enter leaves a bad taste in my mouth." WTF? are you serious? you have to pay to enter?
