Total shot in the dark here.
So, I just re-watched Watership Down for the first time in a looong time. It was great.... but I swore to god there was this really creepy scene where they meet a lemur... it was like a more freaked out chesire cat. It totally never happened.... what the hell movie am I thinking of?? Where our "heroes" are in the woods .. and meet a really freaky lemur..
fuck.. I'm going nuts.,. I'd assume it's 70's.. and not disney?

Oh man, this was a great one...remember being really freaked out by it as a kid (pretty dark stuff), but I loved the story.
The book is really great as well.

that's because it didn't happen... it's a different film.. that I must have watched around the same time....
but yes... watch it again.. I really think it might be my favorite movie ever.. it just makes me love the earth.

i love Watership Down.
the other day 'Bright Eyes' came on the radio and i shed a tear thinking about the wee rabbits.
have you seen "Plague Dogs"?
link
i think its by the same people who did Watership Down.
My mate has it, but anytime he tries to show it to me, his girlfriend freaks out and wont let us watch it, cos she was badly freaked out by Watership Down.
haha.

Watership Down was the first movie i fell in love with, and watched it repeatedly as a result, oddly it always seems to be on tv here in the UK at xmas even though it's hardly christmas cheer! So, yeah easily my most watched film.
You know i think i may have seen plague dogs, I've seen an animated film that involved lab animals anyway and there can't be too many of them! I'm downloading it now to check anyway ;)
Another 2 i liked when i first saw when young but haven't seen either since are Laputa - castle in the sky and The secret of Nihm
The lemur scene...I'm not sure of, let me think...
