--> Hi there, folks

As a continuation of my monthly cluster performances, I have uploaded my third cluster video just now. It's a second performance of Moon After Berceuse that I did in my hallway.

This one is bit looser and more intimate. Also, I held the camera myself, so every move my body made registers as a camera move. That said, after shooting and importing the takes into my computer, I was a bit surprised at how u-u-u-ugly I look! but so be it!

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the performance.

on second viewing i have to say: damn you fredo, damn you and your beautiful voice. and you are a pretty man. i feel, however, that the sinewave bass takes away from the track a bit. and i love the sideward glance about halfway through the last frame.

thanks so much, folks! Any ideas what song I should do next? I was thinking of doing a cover one of these days too, but maybe a more upbeat one of my own. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. And thanks for the feedback about the click track. I'm going to see about an ear piece. Singing to headphones does something to the performance though, something not great. Because you aren't totally present. You are partly internalized.

I think maybe it's the lighting that is a problem. That yellow color is no good.

I quite like the color, actually. I have heard that before though, I think my mom made that comment. To me, the fact that it isn't lit is part of what works about it, and I really do love the color, but I guess I see what you and my mom are saying...

if i'd try to record something like that in my hallway, a neighbor would come out, yell at me, hit me in the face with a shovel and steal my wallet, most likely pee on me too

need to nail some wood to their doors from outside or something

if fredo would come to my hallway recording this, my neighbors would stand still, and listen and applaud him, because its great.

most likely they would try to steal your wallet though

what about a panel vid with one screen of just your mouth
+ one mouth nose eyes
+ one head and shoulders
+ torso
+one full body

all singing the different parts

just an idea for a variation on your theme.... remember to floss though ;)

hahahahah, great idea, room. I am definitely going to try that, or a variation on that, no doubt!

Tylth, actually I used to sing in the hallway for about half an hour every day. My roommate, who owns the place in which I live, was VERY uncomfortable with that. Most folk would be very nice. Every so often somebody rushes by looking a little put out. But so far nothing has been stolen. Actually, I did a hall performance in a business building about two months back and somebody threw a can at me. It made for an interesting moment in the video, and I hid that video on one of the pages of my website, so if you are interested, happy hunting! ;)
it was behind door 3!

it was a can! it didn't even hit you i bet the person put pee in it and optet for collateral damage. great how you kept rollin'

i think i know the song, i think the version i know is faster

you must like hallways and staircases. for their acoustic

it was Cucurrucucu Paloma, and no doubt you heard it a lot faster. It's a mariachi song.

fredo - beautiful harmony. you are truly an artist and your passion for music and creation would inspire anyone.

p.s. cute website ;)

2nd that the yellow is a bit off. it'd be cool to have you "barely there"...more play with lighting/shadows. or cooler tones.

p.s. if you are having an ugly day, i suggest you go find a girl, stare deeply into her eyes and start singing. she'll either thwack you with her purse or turn into a pile of gooey, melty mush. :-D

the yellow was a reference to the great work of art "Piss Christ"

that was so badass it crashed my pc.
