and i'm working on the audiobulb site

and all is good except one thing and its driving me round the bend!

I'm working in the design view window

Writing text

and everytime I add a paragraph by pressing ENTER the text above squashes up - so previous paragraph breaks disappear....

I prefer looking at text in the design view - I tried diff preference setting to no avail and have looked it up in the adobe help.... nothing

anyone?

thanks

in the design mode, it's possible to select an element, and at the bottom of the window it'll show all the parent elements... can you do this with the code view, and is there functions in the code view that'll allow me to select an element by clicking near the opening tag and having the program figure out the matching close tag?

i've got a feeling its going to force me at long last - kicking and screaming into the cold harsh air of basic html

p.s. why are people enjoying this blog.... my3BIKaHT & cbit you are weird!

I get my kicks from reading tales of html woe. I thought everyone did.

If you're on a mac this may be useful:

I hear good things.

pc - but thanks!!!

I used ultraedit for web work while i was a windozer. Very good, but maybe overkill if you're not going to be doing loads of coding.

I heard good things about crimson editor, which by all accounts is tiny, efficient and free. link

shift + return ? crap, i'm late.
