i work in mental health and once we had a training day with someone who worked with Patch Adams (that Robin Williams film was based on his work)
she was dressed as a clown and made me hug strangers while forcing us all to LAUGH REALLY LOUD.
it was painful and embarrassing but strangly refreshing!

it looks like fun in a group though. i can see how it could get really goofy and everyone would just start cracking up.

My friend's parents do 10 minutes of laughter threapy every morning (she's Indian, too).
She thinks its weird to see both her parents sitting in the kitchen, laughing at nothing.
But, heck, at the age or 50-something, they were out partying and out drinking me, so... it must work!

there should be a link thread on em411, nobody is allowed to say anything, only communicate by posting a link.
