I actually love the newer keyboard and use 'em both at work and at home. The not-so-Mighty Mouse is indeed pretty shit.

i really liked your little mini article, umami. lol.

Best thread one ever

Macs are overpriced underspec'd poncey toys for people with too much money.
Macs are great value for money - you couldn't get the same spec for the same money elsewhere.
OSX is great Windows is shit. Windows is great OSX is shit.
2GB is nowhere near enough memory these days. 2GB might not be enough for Vista but Macs run fine with it.
OSX copied Vista. Vista copied OSX.
Some boring shit about the finer points of Intel processor technology that's the equivalent of showing everyone how big your willy is except nobody is interested whatever.
OSX is shit and Windows is shit; I run Ubuntu blah blah blah.
I hate Steve Jobs he eats babies. Bill Gates eats the babies and their mothers.
I run Cock-Rot Linux and it's the best in the world and I don't know why everyone uses Ubuntu when you can do everything using Vi and the terminal feature of my obscure mobile phone (which nobody ever rings 'cause I've got no friends).
Some other boring comment about processors from someone who wants to show the world that his willy is bigger than the other processor posters (okay, one person read the whole post).
Apple hardware is overpriced I hate anyone with an iPhone. Actually BSD is much better than Linux or Windows or OSX, that's why such a large percentage of people have it installed on their home machines. Doh, didn't you know that OSX is Unix and runs BSD. Actually it's not Unix 'cause Apple won't pay for the certification. Yes it is. No it's not.
Fanboi something. Don't you know the whole fan-boy thing is old and so juvenille, just like your spelling. I still use a Lisa and it does everything I need it to. I use a Commodore 64 with a hard-drive and it's better than the Lisa.
I don't know what I'm talking about and haven't read the article but I'm going to chip in with something irrelevant and wrong anyway.
OSX sucks. OSX rocks.
Bootcamp. DRM. iTunes. Steve Jobs is on first name terms with Satan. Bill Gates is Satan.
I've got an iPhone and I love it. It really pisses me off that Apple has to put i in front of everything.
Something about PPC versus Intel. Something completely without evidence comparing Apples and Oranges (pun intentional) proving PPC is and always will be better than x86. Something completely without evidence comparing Apples and Oranges proving x86 is and always will be better than PPC.

GPL. Google. Linux. QNX. My Dad's harder than your Dad. My Nan's harder than your nan. Something anti-American. Angry riposte proving anti-American point. Thoughtful welll thought out riposte clearly disproving anti-American point that nobody will ever read because there's so much uninformed chaff above it.

AAAAND doron comes out of his cave for an award winning post!

my friend's dog just peed on his 2-year-old MPB, destroying the motherboard. because he has applecare, they cut his $1200 repair bill in half. i'm not sure what applecare is promised to cover, but i thought this was pretty impressive considering it had nothing to do with apple's shortcomings.

i should write another article about apple keyboards. they have had better success with them than with mice, to be fair. my beef with the new aluminum keyboards is that there's almost zero tactile feedback that your fingers are on the right keys. that, and the keys don't handle off-axis pressure very well. i keep mine safely under my desk, while above i bang away on my trusty microsoft natural elite and my msft intellimouse explorer 3.0. the irony of interfacing with my MBP on msft products is absolutely galling.

why would a dog pee on a laptop? jealousy?

you'd have to ask the

The mighty mouse is just fine. Some never get used to it. It's a trackball up there, not just a scroll wheel. You can scroll in any direction. I hated the MM until I got a blackberry with the same tiny trackball; only then did I clue in to the wonder of Steve.

awwwwwwwwwww

i doubt that i'm wrong, what you know about apples can be written on a grain of rice a thousand times. i know you think youre grown up now kid but youre very far from it. the fact that you only now in 2008 ngot your first apple tells me how cheap, naive, and how little you know about computing.

so, pawel tadeusz bialas, you buy new macs or only used ones? i think that makes a difference

i've bought 2 new, 3 refurbished from apple, 2 from online manufactuer refurbished resellers, 2 from friends, and 7 from an auction held at a university. dealt with apples for over 16 years. had 4 years of university learning electronic music based on apple tech and software, 3 years with a private computer tutor (apple), and i went through the cisco networking academy in 2 years specializing in apple platforms. i don't need some cheap kid who doesn't know shit, telling me whats what.

16 macs in 16 years? oh lawd

still use all of 'em?

So it sounds like you've just said you've invested years and years learning to use apple products, which of COURSE means you also know everything about PC's and why Apple is superior. In fact, no wonder you're so eager to defend the platform you've spent to much of your life investing in.

I've build 4,113 PC's, 46 or which were the size of a room, or those 3 were made completely out of LEGO's (PC). I took classes in balancing a computer on my head for 19 years (PC ONLY), and am a certified case critter exterminator, and tutor people on how to use thir PC's drink holder.

And at the end of the day...if you know how to use them...they're just frackin' computers, fanboy.
