I think they both have some good points. and I'll admit that Obama's attitude is really seductive to me, the way a lot of it is sort of "let's cut to the chase and quit the doublespeak horseshit" kind of thing. even though that in itself is an "angle" I guess.
and I never watched any of the youtube stuff on them.

I can't wait till the DNC pick someone so the media-made luster can start to rub off St. McCain. I'm sure whichever democrat wins, it's going to be a blow out in favor of the Dems in November. The one thing that's good about the prolonged race between Hill & Obe is with each new state in the electroral process, the voters are becoming increasingly engaged. Greater voter turnout usually means more progressive voting trends... from president down to local voting measures. Knock on wood...

so true. that's the silver lining in all of this and it's more than a silver lining really.

I really believe that both of these candidates were just tossed at the american public by a party that knows full well that a) the american public is completely ignorant and b)apathetic. I really feel like the hope is that we'll be interested or see them as "change" candidates because of their demographics. They wanted to "look" as different from the republican party as possible. Policy wise, I've not even witnessed enough discussion or proposal to know how much of a departure they are from kerry.
My pick was Edwards, because he advocated universal health care and he took no money from corporations, PACS, or lobbies as a matter of policy.

I dont think any nominee is capable of fixing this situation now. i think its naive to think its possible without some dramatic change, and a new president wont be it. For the record though, i really dislike her, i wasnt a big fan of her husband either.

I suppose i like obama more, for the fact he is younger, i really think the baby boomers should all go as quickly as possible to retirment where they will possibly do less harm with their cold war era way of thinking and sense of entitlment.

Word.

It's heartbreaking how poorly the Edwards campaign managed to spread his ideas. Whenever I ask my Obama-voting friends why they like him so much they always basically spout the Edwards platform, but with the wrong name on top.

I was defending Hillary as recently as two weeks ago, but her proposed gas tax holiday really pissed me off. Exactly the wrong thing to do, and she knows it.

awesome.

Fredo said: "oh, he's an advisor... Well, that's a bit different from being her pastor. Why does everyone hate this woman? I'm really sickened by this kind of bullshit. Just look at what she has done, look at what Obama has done, and make your mind up. Spreading this kind of ridiculous gossip is so crappy."

i know its hard for you to understand political stuff, seeing as how youre a native. you see its hard for someone attend a classy university, spends years in law school, get a low level political job and then over a lifetime work his way up from a senator position to run for president. on the other hand if your are a fucking idiot you could consider clinton to be qualified. after all she was married to a president, during her campaign for senate she literally won votes across the state by making a deal that her husband would buy an offie in new york and bring up the revenue. she also back then lied pretty much everyday, everything from accusing people of be homosexuals and terrorists. clinton has done nothing but lie and try to shit on everyone since this primary began. she is so once she said obama can't be president but is welcome to be her first. someone needs to explain to this greedy rat that the vice president is who takes over for the president.

fredo i don't think youre retarded, just that you don't know anything about politics. don't take this as a personal attack at you just cause i don't like drone music or strected out 40 minute recordings of a bow being pulled across strings

someone's confusing fredo with roshi

i never voted i probably never will. i'm a conspirational therost..terrorist and therefore i think it won't make a difference

one time we had a high ranking politican speaking at our university (theodor la fontaine) and in the end there was an open question round with somebody pulling a mic around and i took the chance and asked about world conspiracy and stuff, and he answered honestly i think that there is a london bank conspiracy and a militray and oil and what not, basically confirming all that stuff. the whole room full of hundreds of poeple laughed, stupid morons.

The video's been taken down. What was it all about?

some sort of porn.

Never mind - reading now about how it was a hoax.
