Yeah, I didn't mean to give the impression that Toronto sucks - just the opposite.
There are plenty of great people doing great things here, they just dont' get recognized as often as the hipsters and insecurity/snobbery.
And when people are looking for reasons to hate, they dont' seem to have to look far, unfortunately. But dig deeper and you'll find gems, as with most things.

i call this bullshit.
it'S not that they used a sample (that would be fine) the just took a complete song, sung over it and claimed it their own. that's blantantly stealing.
they took the art of of somebody and sold t-shirts and records with this art and continued doing so, even after the artist made himself present.
they even didn't stop selling this stuff while still be in negotiations with the artists.
this are just stupid, ignorant idiots, who think they should come first, just because they are cool and hip.
if i were one of those artists being ripped off and made money off my work, i for sure would break their effin faces.

Which is why people seem to be stealing music from Commodore-sporting stringy nerds, instead of Rammstein.
Its one of the classic blunders, never steal music from Germans.
Heck, even kraftwerk had those robots that'd come beat up thieves.
