you're my new best friend

hey mrEd, welcome to the site. hope you'll hang around, its a great community.
i got a mbp a couple of months back and we are now married. ive been on pc since early nineties, but this is seriously good.
when i get home on friday i will install bootcamp and xp and suddenly i dont need to touch my old pc-laptop again (its noisy as a hairdryer), but i gotta have access to sony vegas every now and then.

well well, here i go, babbling away. its a nice piece of gear. seeyou around - -

yea you really can't go wrong.... Will be sticking around.. I like this place.!

got my MBP, it was whining when i first turned it on. 10khz sound
it stopped tho shortly after. then installed all updates/firmware.... no whining yet.

Just sold my 1ghz Titanium which made that noise.
I used the internal mic to record that weird sound with Logic and a ton of gain, got some really interesting noise out of it.
I'll post the track I made with it later on...

Waiting fro the supposed pre holiday chip upgrade to get a new macbook.
Any word on that yet?
