What albums do popular opinions w/in the e-music community seem to hold in high regard that you dislike intensely?

Mine: Drukqs. Hate it. Predictable, boring, post-jungle retread.

i hate myself

m.i.a.

...zzzzzzzzz....

I hate puppies and babies and panda bears

no we should have a blog about music you hated at first but ended up liking....

Once upon a time, I had the audacity to hate Journey.

As several folks here can atest to witnessing, I now love Journey to an unreasonable degree.

justice... i might actually like some of there stuff if it wasn't mastered for ipod ear buds
seriously get some control over that compressor

daft punk gets way too much credit for throwing a beat over someone elses awesome record

I've thought long and hard about this long and hard. I cannot think of anything I hate. This may be because I tend not to remember things I don't like. It may be because I'm not as savvy with the electronic community as others. I don't really like !!! or Mira Calix. Funkstorung's Appetite for Destruction was great, but I was disappointed by Disconnected. Richard Devine is about all I got. I don't get it. I don't like it.

Most of the time I get disappointed when people stop doing something good and go in a bad direction. Or when people just disappear. Plone, for example. Plone was awesome. What happened to Plone? I really did not like Kid A. Many of my friends regard it as their favorite Radiohead album. It is probably my least favorite. Maybe Pablo Honey. I was nervous when Hail to the Thief came out, but In Rainbows is great.

But yeah, aside from Richard Devine, I can't think of anything I immediately would say "Change it, please" to. Maybe I'm a sucker.

Plone wrote a second album for Warp that was never officially released. This was because the co-owner of Warp, who signed them, died, and the other guy wasn't into it. Planet Mu also rejected the album. The record is excellent. It was leaked, so you should be able to find it online if you look around. One guy went into Broadcast for a while; one guy records as Mike in Mono; and another is in Seeland. Plone is one of my faves. Plus they have a computer language named after them (it really was) - how cool is that?

jesus. mlbot reminded me that most of my old idm that i used to *love* now sounds like new age hippie music with glitch layered on top of it. FUCK!!!!

how is this for irony...

after my last post i walked into the back room at work and someone was listening to m.i.a.

and journey... fuck yeah [high fives tantan]

holy fuck yes!
who the fuck actually likes the m.i.a. part of m.i.a.?? no fucking one

all anybody likes is the back ground fucking music

backing tracks

m.i.a. is fucking backing tracks

fuck

^ well, I went to a prince concert with a friend [who, because of tonight I owe a big fucking apology to - long story] courtesy of kidQ, who gave me te tickets [one person you should really get to know IRL because he is a fucking genuine soul] and MIA was the supporting act - she got booed off stage because she was so shit - even though afrikaan boi was onstage with her. ["one day I went to lidl"].

ATM, I want to quit music and my job and just fuck off around the world.

always hated the prodigy and the chemical brothers and that beer-guzzlin' 'big beat sound' of the 90ies
never liked chiptunes either, cute as it may be, the sounds are just too gnarly for me
also thought daft punk was soooo overrated and very unoriginal (dj sneak discoloops anyone?)
