A Teac A-2300S for $30. The thing is dope though I think I have to clean the heads and service the pinch roller, as it is gummed it pretty good. The 1/4" inputs are buzzing as well, though the stereo line-in seems to be fine. Ran it directly to my USB audio but I think I need to run it through a grounded receiver to get a decent signal.
I'm excited to feed it some tracks!

i bought a reel to reel a few years ago
it was soooo cool to listen to but unforatunately the inputs to record stuff were fucked beyond my abilities to fix (needed new amps etc. going to the record head which i didnt want to play with without knowing the correct values for things)
HOWEVER it came with a herb alpert and tijuana brass reel that i listened at 1/4 speed every night as i went to sleep for over a year!!!

I had a similar Teac that I was using as a kick ass preamp before it died. Just arm it to record and monitor the input. Instant $20 tube preamp.
