Hey guys,
So we've been tearing our hair out trying to get this tour booked for June, and we're awfully close to it straight up not happening. We have committed dates in New Orleans (thanks to AllThatFall!) but Every Other Stop is Open. Every one.
So here's my plea. If you live in the following area and you have a basement with a makeshift PA or even just an amp to plug into, we'd like to play for free. I just want to play, I'm sick of promoters ignoring my emails and all the bullshit we've been dealing with. Lets do this. House party!
These are our open dates:
June 15th & June 16th Philly
June 17th Chapel Hill
June 18th Charlotte
June 19th Atlanta
Leads for other venues etc of course very appreciated, but I'm not holding my breath. Everyone I've talked to has said booking your own tour is next to impossible, but I sure didn't believe them until now...
Here is a snippit of what we sound and look like: link
Thanks folks!

How about change course? Like, NYC->Philly->Oberlin (because I know they'll love your music)->Nashville (meet/play with Deltasleep)->Decatur (J-Chot! He Can Jog! Em411 awesome!)->New Orleans->St Louis->Chicago->on to Canada... Ok maybe not like that but you get he idea.
There's a strange and awesome group of kids called 'pataphysics international that puts on basement shows scattered around the southside of Chicago. Might also want to send an e-mail to folks at Deadtech up north here, too.

Man, if only you did this during the early spring when college kids are always looking to put on shows. Have you ever considered that? It pays ridiculously better than most venues, and you get an interesting crowd most of the time.

forget that dude...tickets are bought and paid for. There will be a tour regardless of if there are shows or not. Besides, we've already committed to playing New Orleans. If we don't get anything set up for the rest of the dates, we'll have to start looking into city ordinances and think about doing more of a guerilla performance like the graffiti research lab.

oh yeah tripnik i wasn't ever thinking of canceling the shows we have booked - just would be kinda lame if it ended up being a weeklong vacation with a couple shows at the end. actually that doesn't sound so bad. ;-)

oh man, i know these troubles.
we've been trying to book a tour for may/june. everything looked good.
but we ended up with only 4 gigs in 11 days.
there are 5 days off in a row where we will be stuck in berlin.
not the worst place to stay, but i'd prefer to keep some kind of flow when touring.
also there are two 10+ hours drives. sucks!
j_chot: dommm is awesome! i love his music!

I know a guy who has spent the past few years on tour link , almost continuously, and he books them all himself, through MySpace, he says.
