I wonder, is it at all possible to run reaktor on a box with assumedly limited power?

Running simple fx vsts on that looks to be great too,
but reaktor or tassman in your pocket?
hongkong knock offs ftw!

take a cheap computer, low power midi atx board or so, run linux on it, use reaktor in wine, which works supershizzle well, there you go. I have that lying at home, but the 600 mhz of the cpu is a bit limited for reaktor itself. Other vsts run the shiz.

was thinking the same thing actually, need to weigh both costs really
thomann has it for decent price

I always thought the waves apa models were rip offs
laptop board in a box + propietary soft = mucho dollars

is wine a kind of light windows? i mean it positive -
as in ; super efficient windows, not lightweight underpowered

yeah those boxes look tasty, almost too good to be true (look at all those xlr outputs on the rackmount )

v-pedal really looks hott: Video&feature=related

Oh, for poop's sake: link

Descent integration in sequencer via plug-in

Caution: This 3rd person shooter embedded in your sequencer is going to be distracting...

1st person, 3rd person, all the same to me.

This is an interesting looking box. I wonder if there are any snags to running reaktor.. i wonder if the plugin that this box comes with can handle the reaktor interfaces properly. Id like to see a demo video of that working correctly (bonkers that the site has no vids).
looks pretty solid, from what you can tell. Did i get that right that they have a warpper for windows vst to run them on mac?

not much info to be sure
just that when I see it for sale somewhere, suspicions of vaporware diminish

I can see how it might be a drag to load reaktor, open the ensemble, transfer to vbox, decouple and use, then rinse and repeat each time you want to use different ensemble

the pedal is 1300 euro. that's a lot of euro.

the box is 350 Euro. Not as bad.

ahh shit. where is behringer when you need them?

Oog. Way too much. I'll keep my laptop, fcb1010, and audiocard, thank you very much.

So this box runs a flavor of windows.... its not linux like the receptor?
