Take two large potatoes, skinned, and chopped into decent size cubes and toss them in a zip lock bag. Add lot's of paprika, decent salt and pepper, cumin. Shake the bag until the potatoes are covered evenly. Taste the mix, if it needs salt, add to taste. Let the bag sit for 30 minutes, of course the longer the better :P
On a large skillet (depending on how many potatoes you've used) add olive oil, heat up, then add lots of garlic. Add potatoes, and cook until potatoes are edible.
A nice tweak: instead of just plain olive oil, get one of those oil/vinegar mix bottles for like italian bread dipping stuff...
You can also add onions to the potatoes while they've been cooking for a bit.
I usually make this with a slap of catfish or sole fish...

That sounds brilliant!
You could try S&B japanese chilli flakes. If you're lucky, it might be the ones with thc in them.

adcbicycle's barbecued poutine...
(made this last weekend at a cabin with no electricity or running water)
chop 20 lbs of potatoes into slender fries, heat 3 large skillets on the barbeque filled with about 1/2inch of oil, cook fries in batches, storing cooked fries in tinfoil, combine fries with 3 litres of (premade) mushroom gravy and 5 lbs of cheese curds.
serves 20 very hungry people.
