this is insane!!!!!! can't wait to try it out!

fooooook!
ok what do i need to get to be able to load that up on my ds? what flashcart or whatever, what size and who sells them.

ejectorset:
you need "r4ds" card !

ejectorset:
i have older version of r4ds called "m3" and i use firmware from r4ds and
works 100 % !

thanks, i'll have to pick up an rd4s then. some of the other stuff for the ds looks "fun", but this is the first thing i've seen and been like omg i want that. well other than the korg ds-10.

This is a really great piece of software.

FYI it also works with the DSTT, which can be picked up for less than $20 US, including shipping.

Damn. I'm getting that "sounds not found" error that slp described (with the latest 1.8 firmware for r4ds). Stop teasing me, I want to play

had time to play with it some more
this thing is the shit! and I havent even loaded my own sounds on it yet.
bass response is pretty pour (limited by hardware I guess) so I'd be chucking an EQ pedal right after it no-doubt
i get decent bass out of nitrotracker, maybe it's the software.

I love this app, has anyone figured out how to load your own sounds?

you have to convert them to raw (headerless) 22khz. Theres a command-line tool called SOX that can do it (on win and linux, not sure if thats on osx too):
sox -V example.wav -c 1 -2 -r 22050 example.raw
most sound-editors should be able to save as 22khz raw too i guess

i've got sox on my iMac - i don't remember if i had to us macports or fink or what but it wasn't hard at all when i installed it.

I finally got it working with a fresh format of the minisd card. It's really quite amazing/hypnotic, I hope MIDI out is in the works...

new sample pack have been added by the dev..

nitro2k01 has released some as well.. can't wait to check them out..

if you like me hate fiddling with that microSD card and crappy cardreader/adapter which only work halftime, and if you have a wireless network running, get DSFTP!
link
an ftp server for the DS... quite nice to get sounds and things onto the card !

sooo much ds stuff! insanity
