This was a "reMixit" - samples from the last 10 Mixits were randomly selected and placed in a samplepack - download the submission pack here:

if you're new to Mixits -- give it a try, people upload samples for a week, then the Mixit goes live -- download the samples, and you have three weeks to put together a track using only the samples provided.
They can be sliced, diced, run through effects, whatever you'd like -- as long as all the sounds used came from the samples provided.
It's fun, it's cheap, and it makes you more attractive to your friends.

So we create samples first for awhile, upload them to your forum and then once a certain amount have been amassed everyone uses those to create mixit tracks?

yep. and we do the same thing in #em411 (espernet), only in an hour or so.
