Back in the day I saw New Order with Echo and the Bunnymen and it was amazing. They were super tight and really critical about the mix. Bernard kept checking all the gear and mixers and monitors every chance he got. The played Ceremony which was a rare treat because they never play there early tracks. They also did Sister Ray by Velvet Underground which Joy Division covered on Still.
If you have Still on vinyl look at the records run off(the space between the last track and the paper label). The first batch pressed had 'chicken feet' and the words 'the chicken wont stop' and 'the chicken stops here' scratched into the run offs.
This is a reference to the last scene of the Herzog film Stroszek which Ian Curtis watched before committing suicide.
I found that out when watching 24 Hour Party People with the Tony Wilson commentary on.
