Some guy got caught on video going really ape-shit at the office!
He basically disassembles the office and practically tries to heave all the office parts at his fellow workers.
Clickity Clicko ( link fixed )
..and another angle..
I've never seen any co-worker go this mental at the office in person, but at my first job as a Cub Foods cart clerk, I saw a lot of customers go mental. For instance, saw one guy cross the street and get tapped on the leg by the bumper of a car on the road. The guy then starts yelling at the driver and starts pounding the drivers window. The driver was stuck behind a big line of cars, but manages to squeeze out and drive on the wrong side of the road (this is a parking lot road btw). The dude who got hit then jumps on the car (a volkswagon rabbit) and pounds on the roof as the driver cruises down the wrong side of the road, over speed bumps at 20mph, with the angry dude holding on and pounding away on the roof! Quite entertaining.
Anyone see any rage @ the workplace??

I've seen people really freak out at work. I worked in a one hour photo lab, and the girl I was working with just totally lost it one day. Brought her cat in, and walked around with a cup instructing customers to drink of the blood of (company name). She called herself the one hour whore. She did not, however, break anything. She did, however, say some extremely derogatory things about our asian owner. She went to the hospital, and now she is peachy. I think it may have been related to something she ate.
I've been held up twice, and both times I was remarkably calm. I was mildly alarmed the first time, but I'd never really seen a gun in public before. I gave the guy the money, and a donut, and after he left called the police. However, my co-worker did nothing while he was there, and this co-worker was in the back room. Could have called the police or something. The second time, my boss was mad for me calling her after the robbery. I therefore quit.
One of my previous co-workers once was upset about an order not being placed in a timely fashion, and proceeded to put the majority of his arm through a wall. After this, he calmly turned to the person who was suppose to place the order, and said "I kinda of need to get that order going, so try to get it in today. Thanks." He then went to his office, locked the door, and seemingly fell asleep.
I once worked in housekeeping. I was really not very good at it. I worked with my girlfriend, and despite having been caught having sex in rooms numerous times, was never fired. I eventually quit the job after I was working the Nascar weekend, and after 23 hours of work was denied the request to go home. I went home anyway. Never went back. They mailed me the check, which was fine with me.
In short, I'm constantly impressed with the variety of ways and the degree to which people freak out in a work environment.

I think the green boxes are good for raising bike awareness in automobile drivers. But, I bike 3 times a week to work, and have not seen anyone use the bike box in front of a car! Pretty funny.
There are a lot of militant cyclists in PDX, or just people who think they are invincible because they are in tight jeans, a hoodie, and riding a single speed. I got yelled at by another biker for not running a red light! Jeebus!

lol. so true.. tight jeans, hoodie, u-lock in back pocket. those guys are typically aggro. generalization i know. but every once in a while they make me wish i had a 2ft long trailer mirror. whack!
the green boxes are ripe for stencils. how much more aware of bikes do people need to be? bikes are everywhere in this city. i think it's great because that means less cars etc. but you have to be fucking comatose not to be aware of bikers in this city.

True. Portlanders are very cyclist-aware. I know the cops have been ticketing cyclists more lately for violating traffic laws. I heard about some girl who was riding too close behind a car in downtown, on a single speed. Car had to hit the breaks hard and she went through the back windsheild. She had no helmet on either. Be careful out there kids!

yeah, those bike boxes... I'm scared to drive in lanes that have those now.
I have been uncharacteristically agro twice in my life...First was when some guy harassed my mom and sister in front of our house, I somehow managed to just totally wreck him to the point of him needing the ER...I don't even know what happened...Second was a year or more later!!!, some of his friends started chasing me in their car while I was driving, at a stop light one of them got out and broke my rear window, so I threw the car in reverse, hit the guy and broke his leg. Moral is, I guess, I will fuck you up, but I won't know how I did it. I think the craziest thing is how like a year or more later those guys were still pissed at me. That's true anger right there.

Maybe that's why he got so mad, he finally realized he had this huge monitor on his desk, not connected to anything!

Ha, sweettrip, I have many rage stories from SF as well. Being a biker, but not being one of the "fixie" kids, and not the self righteous "2 wheels good, 4 wheels BAAADDD" mindset, leaves one to deal with all the rage the others bring to the road.
Something about the West (Left) Coast..
.....simple
..............passive-aggressive
.....................really bad drivers
