--> Some guy got caught on video going really ape-shit at the office!
He basically disassembles the office and practically tries to heave all the office parts at his fellow workers.

Clickity Clicko ( link fixed )

..and another angle..

I've never seen any co-worker go this mental at the office in person, but at my first job as a Cub Foods cart clerk, I saw a lot of customers go mental. For instance, saw one guy cross the street and get tapped on the leg by the bumper of a car on the road. The guy then starts yelling at the driver and starts pounding the drivers window. The driver was stuck behind a big line of cars, but manages to squeeze out and drive on the wrong side of the road (this is a parking lot road btw). The dude who got hit then jumps on the car (a volkswagon rabbit) and pounds on the roof as the driver cruises down the wrong side of the road, over speed bumps at 20mph, with the angry dude holding on and pounding away on the roof! Quite entertaining.

Anyone see any rage @ the workplace??

oh wtf? em411 doesn't link to you tube?

here's the video id to append: tgulvfqADlY

it does link, but only to clips of BT

lgo: That video needs some Indiana Jones punch overdubs. LOL!

I think I'm giving up cycling and going with THIS!

One thing is for damn sure... this summer there will probably be a record number of bike commuters on the streets. Those bike boxes will probably get filled!

that thing is rad!

nothing fills up like a bike box, yesirree... nosirree... nose soiree... n^5%skd3.e

there's one right on broadway at a light near the shnitz"

hmmm... downtown does make sense, though, because the cars and bikes all do about the same. the lights are timed for bike speed, which means cars will usually end up doing the same average speed. next time you're on broadway and you get a red light, after it turns green, travel 15mph and play chicken with the rest of the lights. they'll all turn green right when you get to the intersection. wherever there is a right turn over a bike lane with bikes and cars going the same speed, there's an increased risk of a squished cyclist... even at low speeds. i've been very close to squished in the pearl.

not that every single right turn needs a box, but busier areas could use 'em.

yeah. i always time the lights when i'm down there. now that i don't live downtown i think about it less though. it is busy right there so maybe that's why they put one there. plus the construction on jefferson is messing things up some though there is a dedicated right turn lane there for the time being to cope w/the construction. maybe they should make it permanent? i think cutting off a parking space or two on some corners and making a dedicated right turn lane might improve things too. then drivers wouldn't just be thinking about the turn as it happens.

at any rate.. if the bike box saves one biker form getting into a car vs bike showdown then it's worth it.

it'll take time but drivers will become more aware. though that guy's turn was completely illegal as there were "not turns" signs up. what a douche
