--> I have been looking at the machinedrum since it first came out in the early 2000's. I was always very interested about its interface, sequencer and the parameter locks, but i was always put off by the price and what else was available for that price.

I recently scrapped together enough cash to buy the entry level mark two version without user wave. I am amazed at the potential of this machine.

Now i have always been working with very little space so as much as i like hardware i have always been limited to computers and rack gear and a hell of alot of wiring. I find that recently my table top is bare except for this box,and sometimes a prophecy, and i get a heck of a lot more done.

When i bought the machine drum i was thinking this was going to be a drum machine. Then i found that some of the machines could go beyond drum and percussion sounds. Then i found out about midimachines. All this combined with the parameter locks and a really good UI just makes it so simple and fun.

I just wanted to share this with you guys because i have heard so many of you on here rate elektron stuff in the past and you are so right!

Many thanks,

Horizons
